I'm closing down an extra cyno account I don't need, but CCP has neglected to provide a "cancel subscription" button for my account.

Anyone else paying with paypal that can tell me how change account status out of "active"?

Thanks.

For some reason that doesn't appear as an option.

If you're playing with PLEX/GTC you will not see a cancel subscription option.

I guess this must be the case with paypal time. I wish CCP would have a better explanation of what the various cases of "active" mean.

Thanks

If you haven't checked the box that say:

"Charge my PayPal account automatically in the future."

when paying for your account through PayPal, you can not (don't have to) cancel the subscription, since your account will be deactivated once the subscription period expires.

I'd double check that paypal thing man, I've seen several people get bitten when it turns out their paypal withdrawl WAS reoccurring. The magical disappearing cancel subscription button is such a common issue that not only have I memorised the URL to directly cancel your account, but its in my browser memory, so as soon as I start typing secure into the URL bar, it pops up with the link, despite the fact that I buy my time in advance rather then subscribing.

also - give me all your stuff [and isk]

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

someone else had this problem the other day and the option should still be there from what I understand even if you use paypal.

it may be a browser bug, have you tried another browser?

Holy One: Zulu?
Zulu: [laughing] The investors brought me back. I told you they won't let me leave - they won't let anyone leave. Did you really think you could destroy Hilmar? He's defied Greece and Dr. Adkins. He's been to a place you couldn't possibly imagine. And now... it is time to go back.
Holy One: [sounding bored] I know. To hell.
Zulu: You know nothing. Hell is only a word. The reality is much, much worse.
