Corp for alts (single player)?

I have a number of alts at hubs who are buyers for my main who runs a manufacturing setup.. I'm wondering if it makes sense (strategically / financially) to create a new corp and put all the alts in the same corp?

The benefits I can think of are not having to keep sending money back and forth to the buyers who need it (corp wallet) and not having to constantly create private item exchange contracts between them and my main when goods get delivered to the manufacturing station (corp storage). I could also grind corp standing once, and have all the players pick up the standing.. At this point I don't have a need for a POS, but it may be feasible in the future.

The downsides would be cost (corp registration / office rental, etc..) and the off-chance that someone decides to wardec my little corp, all members are now targets (as opposed to having them all in NPC corps).

Just curious if anyone has done this and determined if it makes sense, or is just more trouble than it's worth?

Go for it an enjoy the benefits of corp.
If something does go bad you can always drop corp.

That's true.. I'll have to check out rental prices and see if it makes financial sense.. Anything more than 10-12 mil a month and it's probably not worth it at this point.

the flaw in this for me was http://evewho.com/ which makes your memberlist public. that maybe wouldn't be an issue for you if your characters don't undock much, and you could always use public shipping contracts if you got decced to move materials and goods between stations.

or you could stay with NPC corp status and not use alts at all and either use jumpclones or shuttle between stations and facilities. it;'s not like manufacturing is an active process so you don't have to be checking up on it all the time.

forums.  serious business.

well. i made my own corp. just to evade 11% NPC tax. why not? noone can prevent you from leaving it anyway.

just give CEO role to some never undocking alt so you don't need to close corp when decced and you always can get your working alts out
