Hello.
Looks like that next class to rebalance as a part of tiercide process - battleships.
So, i guess that 3 laser battleships for amarr is too many. What about the same principe with BC rebalance? Let Abadon and Armagedon will b combat BSs, meantime Apocalypse could be attack BS.
So, my opinion that Armagedon can be "Prophesy style" drone carier. Bonuses +5% to resists and 10% of HP and damage to the drones. 7 high slots, 6 turrets, 6 missile hardpoints.

PS I realy hope that CCP wll rebalance finnaly navy versions of the ships, and we can use new navy BSs

I just want a navy abaddon to look at in a station. Would be damn sexy. Or a black/platinum one using the colour scheme on the anathema etc.

Infact the covops line of amarr ships should all use that black/platinum skin. The redeemer especially.


Infact just make them all black/platinum. With Navy being black/white.

No, NO NO NO NO NO.
If anything, abaddon needs a few tweaks, but ther eis no way in HELL, any self-respecting Amarr-playe would let the armageddon use anything but lasers, or receive any kind of nerf.

armageddon is GOOD how it is, not overpowered, not useless, its right around that sweet spot of acceptable.

(and seriously, switching the geddon to a drone boat or missile boat would make me swear off amarr battleships, since its the ony amarr one i like)

I wouldn't mind seeing bonused neuts on a geddon... one can only hope!

I know, I'm a hypocritical spacerich WH dweller who should just buy a Bhaalgorn instead. :(

yeah, just buy a bhaalgorn, were Wh dwellers, were rich, you killing the geddon for a poor-man bhaalgorn would make me and every armor-pvp'er in womrhole sapce who doesnt use T3 whelp-fleets cry.

CCP made it.clear that the T1 Amarr BS line will be tweaked but no significant changes will be made. The only real difference I expect to see are slot swaps, ehp changes and fitting changes.

I can't remember where, bit I'd was mentioned.by a dev that any Amarr T1 BS drone boat would be a new hull.

So I'm hoping for a line of new hulls. Disruption BSs and an Attack ship for Caldari. Then.again, the Raven is basically an Attack BS, so maybe a new Brawler may be brought in.

Oh, and just because we all know it, its a T2 Khanid Abaddon that we all want...

The only thing I don't like about the geddon is 3 mids. I would love a fourth but i'm not really expecting it other than that the geddon is pretty much fine as is.

If they make it a drone boat i will cry for a day.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.

Caldari battleship lineup is fairly complete as it is. Raven is clearly an assault BS, Rokh doubles both as sniper and a brawler thanks to its bonuses and Scorpion is one of a kind electronic superiority battleship. Imo, what Caldari really need is a navy version of Rokh or some other reason to specialize in hybrids rather than missiles. It would probably help if Vindi was Gallente-Caldari, but as it is, the caldari battleship line is sort of a dead end for hybrids. Too bad, since Rokh on its own is amazingly awesome.

TBH what i remember from the dev post a while back was them listing the battleships as disruption which was the scorpion only then attack and combat battleships.

What I actually hope for is that Amarr/Gallente/Minmatar will get a "disruption" battleship and Caldari will get a new combat battleship, but maybe that's just me. If you want a drone based Amarr battleship that's where I'd want to see it.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.

with simple asthetics armageddon looks more like a combat. Apocalypse is definatly attack. Abaddon looks more like the drone boat so probably Combat.

A year ago I would have squealed over the idea of an Amarr drone battleship. Post drone-nerf, though? Heck no. If anything we should be moving away from drones and back into lasers, because at least with lasers there's no more room left to nerf them any further.

With the 3 Amarr-BC, you also have 3 different Roles with them.

The Abaddon is clearly a Comat-Ship with its Damage and Tank-Bonus.
The Armageddon is a Attack-Ship with more DPS than the Abaddon.
The Apocalypse is a SniperShip with its Range-Bonus.

What will happen with Tiericide is that every BS will get the same ammount of Slots, so the Abaddon will lose one, or the other two will gain one

All 3 Amarr BSs have 19 slots. I don't see any slot losses on the horizon, maybe a shuffle, but no losses.

The Abaddon has more damage than the Geddon by itself.

While you have an extra lowslot for an additional Heat Sink, you could also argue that the Abaddon does not mind changing a Rig slot for a Burst Aerator, since it already has so much extra tank, and suddenly you end up with a ship with better tank and better DPS still.

Thats sounds like the most realistic thing to happen, assuming CCP actually plans on adding another group of BS hulls.
I just hope they actually keep their promise and dont screw with the current Amarr BS.
Its such a fine tuned setup with 3 BS basically using the same weapons yet have their own roles, would be a waste to change that.
