How dose one go about getting to know about events before they happen so i can plan to come?

Some events are such that you just can't. They happen without warning (and it makes sense that they don't have any in context).

You can also declare your loyalty to a particular faction. They may then mail you ahead of time if there's something going on involving them.

Otherwise, you can join the "Live Events" channel and the "FCORD" mailing list. We send out updates when we get them about the state of any possible Live Events.

The absolute best way is to follow @EVE_LiveEvents on Twitter, as all events will be notified of through there as soon as we are ready to notify people (the notice can be very short in some cases). We have a superior solution in the pipeline that we aren't ready to discuss fully yet.

heres a dumb question, say someone has never been a fan of facespace or twitterbook, how dose one go about making such things work on there smart phones.

Go to the app store of your phones OS. Download a twitter app (I like tweetdeck). Sign in. Voila.

Go to the app store of your phones OS. Download a twitter app (I like tweetdeck). Sign in. Voila.


You could also turn on tweet notifications via SMS - should work well with that account since it only tweets about LEs. Not sure on the specifics as I've never used it, but I know a few people do so.
