is it a good idea to join a corp (Brave Newbies :P) if it has been wardecked by several corps? I even saw Brave Newbies in its own wardecked list!!!

Stealth recruitment thread here? P

Anyway, in case you are serious about your inquiry, if you are ready to experience the best part of Eve (PvP) for the price of possibly losing your ship then go for it.
Depends of course on the deccer AND the decced actually bringing it (and from what I have gathered they do), hiding in stations/playing station games is less fun.

The thing to remember, imo, is having a way to finance your losses, either with an alt or via ship replacement program or w/e, having to constantly worry about how to pay for your next ship/clone if you get blown up does not contribute to having "fun" either...

If you want to fight people, yes

If you're not ******** and keep an eye out for war targets, yes

If you're a total derp, no...... but war will find you anyway

For PvP: Yes.

For carebearing: No

best about that corp. the CEO is raking ISK when not at war. 5% tax of 800 members running missions can be good income.
But E-Unis just became obsolete.

Why did E-unis become obsolete?

Well, if they are really Newbies, they will probably run L1s and L2s... not that much ISK to make there, brave or not.

Not to mention that war is usually detrimental to mission running.

Wars stop.
And newbies grow and gain access to level 4's eventually.

Ok, had some time with Brave Newbies. Being podded in Dodixie and every major system gets old fast! I have no idea why these corps are targeting Brave Newbies! Its like they want to undermine Eve's new player base.

We did a fleet action to take back Huk though, was fun to see so many of our fleet and some big players sometimes playing the docking game to avoid humiliation! During a fleet warp, my poor Algos was too slow to initiate warp and got.......stranded :(

I don't think we managed to win this fight though.....

Eh I was being unnecessarily mean. But really, the entire point is that you're brave newbies, obviously some people are going to do their best to give you something to worry about.

Also the publicity for Brave Newbies on the EvE login page attracts wardecs.

I considered it myself until i saw how many corps already on it. Older eve players realise the real muscle of Brave Newbies are alts of experienced members. Deccing them isnt really undermining new players since most of its members are likely not new players at all.

Well, a Corp that gained over 1000 members in two weeks is certainly not the usual run-of-the-mill Corp lending credit to the rumor that it is a TEST front (for their Hi-Sec alts and new players recruited from Reddit).

I just wonder if Goons have a similar thing going and duke it out with Brave Newbies in Hi-Sec so they can continue being BFF with their Testbros in Null... Smile

Sounds like something that would be funny to watch... also "Brave new Goonies" has a nice ring to it, can someone please make it happen? Big smile

This has nothing to do with undermine EVE's new player base.

Those guys in your corp (including you) decided on their own to join that corp and with that the high possibility of wars (specially with the background of the corp: made for and by new players, sudden influx of membership (grow big too fast is NOT good), easy recruitment (equals SPAIZ), make a Dev-blog (attention by others you don't want attention with).
