what size drones are you useing?, larger drones have trouble hitting smaller frigates, also make sure they are not E-war or logistics drones :-P

Please be more specific, what drones do you use? do you command them to engage? Do they orbit the target or you? Do they fire and miss or not fire at all?

Valkyrie SW-600 aren't combat drones. They don't do damage, all they do is web your enemy.

For light combat drones you're looking for the Acolyte (not a very good one), Hobgoblin, Hornet, Warrior.

From the in-game info on those drones:

Quote:
Medium Webifier Drone

Because of the instability inherent in affixing large, ship-capable webifier equipment to a small, mobile, independently powered carrier such as a mobile drone, the manufacturer had to sacrifice certain aspects of the drone's infrastructure. As a result, the drone has a high signature radius, making it relatively easy to target and hit, and isn't sturdy enough to suffer more than a few blows to its carapace.

Get into the habit of reading over the info on any ship, drone or module that you're planning to use. It saves nasty surprises later.

It is.

Rule 1)
Small drones for enemy small ships (frigs mostly, perhaps dessis).
Medium drones for enemy medium ships (cruisers and battlecruisers).
Heavy drones for enemy big ships (battleships).
Sentries work best against BCs and BS, everything below they might have trouble tracking. That means they still can pop even NPC frigs if they are still approaching (close to zero angular speed, which is what rats do) but once they settle into orbit around you, you will probably have to switch to mobile drones.

Rule 2)
Minmatar drones against minmatar rats (they do explosive damage which is the rats´ weakness).
Everything else: Gallente drones.

These are rules of thumb, of course.
