well... i guess that kinda to but what im really asking for moving the production of capsuler implants ( the kind that go into your head) into the hands of the capsulers themselfs using materiels from a mixture of sources like minirals, moon materials, gas and PI.

so far everything else has moved into the players hands and i think this one provides some unique opertunitys froma ll walks of life in new eden.

Implants are one of the biggest isk sink in the game, because of this they will never be made by players.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

what about just making the high end hardwireing implants manufactureable, and have them in limited run BPC's dropped in ded sites across new Eden?

If anything it should be the low end ones that are manufactured. And I'm not even sure they should allow that.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

As others mentioned, I think implants are too valuable of an ISK sink to be placed into players hands, directly.

A while ago I considered (might have even done it) suggesting a mechanic that would allow players to pull parts out of corpses (via some skillset, "Neural Decomposition" or "Postmortem Brain Surgery" or something morbid like that) and manufacture new implants from those bits. Again, though, it would reduce the value of the isk sink.

Although... it might be fun to let the parts be yanked from corpses, then have those parts act like tags in pirate LP stores. Might be a nice way to get implants from pod-killing your enemies, especially the juicy ones. It would still probably mess up the sink though, even with the very few players who actually grind LP for pirate factions.
