Hi there,

I am new player and have recently dropped doing missions for trading. . Today I have noticed that running narcotics in empire can be very lucrative but with risk. Can you advise on ships to use and skills to train to reduce my chances of getting busted by customs officers ?

Does anyone know what the chances of getting caught are, or is it completely random.

Any tips and stories would be much appreciated

1. i dropped a good way to make isk for another way to make good isk
2. i then dropped that for something that doesnt exist and if it does is so risky it isnt worth it

3. no one buys drugs in highsec.

2: Get an orca, put it in the corp hanger, it doesn't get scanned last time I checked. Or use a minimally trained throwaway alt to do it.

This was changed a few months ago. Orca hangars are now scanned by customs and will get confiscated.

I believe the correct way to do this is to scout / map where the customs agents are and avoid those systems. I might be wrong on this one, never done it.
