I've searched high and low for this on the forums to no avail so:

Could someone please point me in the right direction or please tell me that they also hate the new asscrap sound that comes along with "skill training complete" now?

CCP, I've never once had any issue with what you've done or the changes you've made but even in a strictly business sense, why on earth would you ever take your iconic "skill training complete" and add a swoosh or ding or some sort of ******** sound to go along with it? On top of that, I've been so inundated with the wowization = game killer comments for every other mmo on the market since wow came out, I can't help but smirk at the idea that this is the most wow-like change I've ever seen. I feel like my ears have been raped.

I'm okay with you wanting to change your game's image or whatever, it's your game. But why add this sound? I do not understand. I think if you want update the look and feel of your game, actually copy wow on this, don't change the freaking sound that everyone has learned to love for however long it was just a cappella.

Yeah, probs.

I barely even hear it but I just don't understand. It'd be like changing Aura's voice. Just...why?

Actually my alt is now hanging on completing skills, so I now associate the sound with horror and joy.
Joy because I am there and can fix it and horror because I am not always there to hear it-if it even plays.

I'll have to check it out.

Being one of the old guys, I have a skill completed every 16 to 45 days and so far I've been off line whenever they've finished.

Join the club. I would love to be around as a skill completes just to hear what this sound is like! Oh well, 38 days for jump drive callibration 5, so i will make sure im online to listen Lol

If you feel this way over a tone that notifies you of skill completion, how do you think the rest of the world feels about listening to Kesha? That sir, is proper ear ****, not the ear foreplay youre experiencing.
