Best of luck to you in Iceland, Kil2. I hope your knowledge of solo and small gang PvP proves valuable with your new job. Not to mention your overall knowledge of the game. Your videos will be missed.

Well.... guess we can't use the old "do you people even play your own @#$%ing game?!!" whine anymore.P Good to see more great players making it onto the development side!

And make some vids of roaming null solo in a Polaris frigate (or any of the other bizarre things they have)!

Worst suggestion ever. Large areas of nullsec and w-space is totally empty. I can often go 10-15 jumps without seeing anyone. Lowsec has also have tonnes of regions with very little activity.

Are we even playing the same game?


And what have a space themed game to do with the numbers of ships around? You saying that, the more ships you see around the less space game it feels?

If you want "leet" pvp just move you lazy ass to a region with less people then.

Man you suck on so many levels.

Gratz man.

I got mixed feelings about this, because I really enjoyed your vids and podcasts.

On the other hand the views you presented on the new "1-role pr ship"-direction, in the recent bringing solo back (21), almost made me sprinkle white pearls of joy all over my car seat on my way to work. Those views needs to get closer to Iceland.

I agree with you on the relative "size" of space and the ability to go anywhere quickly via titan projection.


However, there is so much empty null and w-space it'll blow your mind. Get out of empire.

So I'm not clear on what exactly you're disappointed about here, unless that it's that Kil2 is likely to do work that will attract & retain more people to EVE rather than drive away 80 or 90% of them as you seem to want?

Kil2 has been one of the most worth listening to members of the Eve community for some time. He has a Youtube channel, a Live stream (and helped a great deal putting Live Eve streaming on the map), podcasted, commented at the Alliance Tournament and more. Even more importantly he has flown the flag for solo pvp, the idea that you don't need to sit in a blob to pvp that you can just grab hold of your courage, take out a ship and go find fights.

I'm delighted to see that he's joining CCP as a developer. This guy has a great understanding of the fun of Eve pvp and will be a huge asset to the dev team there.

I wish him all the best in his new job and hope he enjoys living in Iceland. Oh and pretty please CCP, let the archive stuff stay up please - it is still some of the best information available for players who want to learn more about pvp.
