I am kinda sad that Kil2 is on the balance team... he is not as good at eve, pvp or knowledge of ships as Fozzie is in any way... if anything I think he is rather bad, not that I don't enjoy watching his videos once in a while, but they are also the reason why I don't think he is worthy of it...

That being said, more hands to Fozzie is good, as long as you don't break anything Kil2... :D no disrespect. I am sure you will do fine, but there is nothing special about you compared to the rest of us besides your pod cast, eve videos and having been in Alliance Turny...

A small part of me want's to raise my hands in dramatic fashion and scream "nooooo". Kil2 has been the single biggest help and influence (without him ever knowing it) on my PVP skills. His videos and podcast has taught me more about proper flying and fitting in eve than any other source, from eve uni lectures, to asking in fleet, Kil2's podcast proved better than them all. No one taught me how to properly set up, execute, think about, and analyze a fight than him. His podcast was the fist thing I recommend any noobie do after I killed them in space. You will be severely missed within the eve community.

However, the majority of me wants to scream "hells yea, congratulations!". CCP couldn't have picked a better addition to the team. This is a great opportunity for both Kil2 and CCP and it's great to see someone like Kil2 get to realize a real life career and dream because of what he has done in game and for the community. I couldn't be happier for someone I've never actually met, and wish kil2 the best of luck in his newfound freezing cold home.

I think it's a good move the same way as Raivi was. Bringing it more passionate people can't be anything but good for the game. And I feel sorta encouraged that there's some real small scale folks there aswell.

Sadface that there won't be any more content from Kil2 though Cry

Too late, he has already broken lots of stuff .. but contrary to the modus operandi of CCP, he does his breakage in theory/debate and on SiSi so that what makes it through the gauntlet of bitter vets is as ready for live fire action as can be expected in Eve.

Only hope that he gets the rest of the devs drinking FozzieBeer before they can get him hooked up to the KoolAid dispenser.

Hear that "other" Devs?. Anything you can come up with will be broken within 48hrs of going live, so in the name of efficiency/progress/sanity use the player BWAINZ!-trust to punch the holes in your work before putting it into the wild!

I think what KIl2 brings is a proven ability to make large numbers of players from all backgrounds incredibly excited about PVP, and I think he will be really helpful at CCP in continuing the trend toward making PVP aspects of EVE more new-player accessible. After all, one of things lots of devs agreed on in the CSM minutes is the need to make small gangs more effective and give them more abilities to disrupt large entities (and, likewise, give large sov entities more reason to usefully go out in small gangs rather than blobs). Who better to work on that than Kil2? I think he will also be really good at helping with future tournaments (I just hope that he and fozzie can continue to be commentators, they were two of my favs last alliance tournament along with Mr. Bolton).

What CCP needs now are more coding gods to implement changes faster / kill more lag / redo old code for things like POSes etc...
