Is it possible the last time you tried to undock with contraband you clicked a box that said something along the lines of "Dont show this again"? That might explain the lack of warning

It's not terribly hard to imagine that one of the nearly 100 items you were carrying was infact contraband. It probably was.

Don't fly contraband, don't ignore pop ups, don't whine in GD.

Amusing stupidity aside, it is possible that in the process of killing all the popups with Crimewatch, CCP simply forgot to implement any kind of replacement warning for stuff that doesn't actually give flags, but is an offense.

Either that or they did and the OP had his safeties off/turned the popups off/is an idiot.
