So I have leaned a new trick.

As some of you may know. The DEV's set up a separate twitter account just for "Live Events" stuff. You can "Follow" it here

@EVE_LiveEvents

Twitter can be setup to send a text/SMS message to your cell/mobile phone.

So what you do is go and get your self a twitter account (if you don't have one already that is) And go and "follow"

@EVE_LiveEvents

Then when you have done that. Go and turn on "Mobile Notification" for that feed.

This way. Whenever the DEV's "Tweet" about something to do with the "Story's of Eve" or "Live Events" or decide it's time for an event in it's self. You will get a Text/SMS Message to your phone. You can not fail to miss it.

Side note. Doing this will not spam your phone with Text/SMS messages for everything on twitter. Just stuff from @EVE_LiveEvents twitter feed.


Anyway. That is it. Simple for very VERY handy

Unfortunately they don't support sending SMS to my carrier (or any other carrier in my country for that matter). Oh well =p
