I haven't run it yet (although I have downloaded it) but I am curious, would it be possible to add a custom graphic to the label?

Check the manual, it'll exactly show/tell you what it's about :) But yeah in short: custom colors, custom fontsize, custom font-options (bold/italic/underlined) and custom orders of info (pilotname/shiptype/corp etc.)

Incredible, can't wait to get home for work and try this out, lost my old settings with a reformat and have been looking for an easier way to recreate them, thanks for providing it!

Can't wait to dual box my Dust toon and EVE toon on the same machine!

Nice app... only thing I don't like is that after using it. NPC corp members names and ship type run together.

e.g. pilotnameshipname

There's no space or - between them which is a bit annoying.

Check out the manual, with the Custom text component you can add this space or anything, it's just that you've got to do it yourself =)

Whoops now I'm reading you're talking about NPC corp members, which is probably true, yes... I'll see if I can fix it one of these days. Thanks for the heads-up!

It's fixed. Replaced it for the current download so just download it again and it'll be EVE Custom Ship Labeler Version 1.0.1 (You can check this by clicking the blue/white information button next to the application's title). To give you an idea of how I changed it (might be jibba-jabba to you):

Now I check wether the next component is on a new line or if the next component is a Custom text component of which the first character starts with a space. If one of these are true then I'll (re)place a space in the "post"-attribute in the xml-file.

Next to that I also check if the previous component is on the same line, was a Custom text component and ends with a space, in that case I replace that space and place it in the "pre"-attribute in the xml-file.

Anyway I hope this fixed your problem,

To be a little more clear on what the bug-fix does:

Depending on your complete setup, this'll show players in an NPC-corp with spaces between components if the setup is as follows:
[pilotname][custom text:" text"][shiptype]
or
[pilotname][custom text:"text "][shiptype]
or
[pilotname]
[shiptype]

Notice that the first example has a space in front of 'text' and the second example has a space after 'text'.

I hope this helps enough, otherwise I'm affraid I'll have to forward you to this thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2339085#post2339085 which is a nice how-to written by Az Tek, showing you how to manually change things in the xml imported in-game.

I'm waiting to see if there's a keylogger or something onboard. Will wait for CCP to weigh in... but it does look the most awesome tool anyone's come up with yet.

I've decompiled and looked through the application. It is 100% legit. No keyloggers.

Certainly would make things much easier to make user modded labels, I remember repeatedly watching that hour long Eve Uni vid about modding the overview xml front and back several times, getting completely enraged at my xml editor acting weird, and constainlty alt-tabing back and forth with the client to see if something worked or if any changes biffed up. It sucked. This looks much easier, I'll try it out tomorrow (it's nearly midnight my time and my cold is kicking my ***) and see how it turns out.

Edit: P.S., forgot to +1 the OP...I'm tired. Oops

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."
