How common is it to train your two free alts for manufacturing? Is there an order to training mass production, advanced mass production, and training alts for extra slots? Do I max out my main before training the alt. Or is it more effecient to start training alt at Mass Production IV or Advanced Mass Production IV? Also for the alts I assume Caldari is the best race to go with for indy starter skills?

And for clarification when I say alt I mean same account (stop training on main to train alt).

Thanks,

Media

It's not uncommon to do some quick training on alts if you're doing T1 manufacturing. MP 5, AMP 3/4, and PE 5 are all you really need to be semi-efficient with it. As for order, PE 5 is critical; I'd get that before installing a job period. The whole thing should take a month without a remap.

Oh, and starting race doesn't matter. Everyone starts with the same skills and attributes now.

Slap in +3s and you're looking at 28 days. 34 if you go AMP 4. Since the total training time is about equal to training AMP 5 once, it tends to be more efficient to crank out a few alts on an account once you hit that cap.

Great thanks. And thanks for training time estimate.
