failed repair

I recently recieved a new laptop, downloaded and attempted to install EVE, error, then found repair exe. these are the last lines.

The current repair tool (repair.exe) will repair your EVE but break the launcher Roll

You can manually install a new launcher after running repair.exe

EDIT: I've bug reported this and it was closed as a known issue.

You must not be using win7 64 or if you are you are very lucky Big smile. After trying the tips in that thread the launcher is still broken and the bin\exefile.exe is still the only way to access the game and the repair tool is still the only way to patch the game. For me personally The launcher has been broken since last April.

Why a switch on/off? Because the new animation doesn't add anything to gameplay and it's graphically annoying. In other words, it's worse than bad: it's useless. Simple as that. - Kina Ayami
