Should I train t2 heavy drones for a carrier?

Hey,

Title basically says it all, should I spend time on training t2 heavy drones for my carrier? I have got t2 sentry drones and I know I would use them with the carrier. Was just wondering if there would be any use for t2 heavies in a carrier and if so what sort of use?

I have both T1 and T2 heavies in my carrier. I've used them both to good effect. So, I'd say yes.

the fact that carriers actually use drones is a myth.
only drones even remotely useful on a carrier are sentries and EC drones.

For carriers, there are sentries and there are fighters. What's the point of heavies?P

While sentry drones are more useful in general having some heavy drones can help you out more in certain situations.

On the way to your carrier, you picked up a BS V. That is the best place for Heavy Drones. My faves are T2 Ogre's which are just plain awesome .

On Carriers I generally used Sentries to try and blap stuff, or fighters. BUT, I know what the Ogre II's can do and I have about 30 of them in every Carrier.

I remember when I finished training for them. It felt like a truly epic milestone to have T2 Heavies. I think you will like them. I recomend training them for *whatever* you have them in.

As with almost anything there are mixed opinions about this. I will just have to see if I can be bothered to waste 17 days on training t2 heavies when I have finished training rest of the skills in my plan. Also I like sentries much more.
