Can a Titan under construction be hidden?

I was thinking that a dead give away for a Titan or Super Cap being built is the presence of the CSMA array in the POS

Can the CSMA be removed when the ship is in build then put it back when the ship is ready to be delivered?

I simply don't know enough about build mechanics to know if this would work but I suspect not as the materials could be tied into the array.

I do understand that a level of SOV would be needed to anchor the CSMA.

In the same manner that the Empire hid the Death Star. Make the installation look like a moon.

You could always tag an anchored can with text in several languages that states everyone should cover their eyes when looking at the POS.

I think the cap assembly array being present and the fact that someone holds sov are going to be bigger giveaway.

There's a million angry citizens looking down their tubes..at me.

This is confirmed. We specialize in discreet supercapital construction and our vast armadas are more than enough to guard any builds. Contact me ingame and I'll get you sorted.

I note that you fail to specify actions and services to be rendered and are decidedly adverse to specifying who you are guarding and from whom.

I'll a hide a titan for you. Just sit still long enough and nobody will ever see it again... you need to turn all your defensive modules off for this to work by the way.

Give a man a match and you warm him for a day.

Well you can leave them on but it slows it down a bit.

Wouldn't want to let the people who would want your titan to be aborted to know the tricks used to hide it now would we.

The only way to hide it is to prevent anyone from getting within 14 AU of the pos and d-scanning it. So stick it in a quiet system and guard it 24/7. Also remember that diplomacy is a powerful tool.

Unless you have close ties to one of the major power blocks that can protect the build, do not even remotely think about setting one up. It will be yanked down (destroying anything that is being built) faster than you were trolled in this thread.

The price being the tears you shed when he bridges in a fleet to nuke your Titan exactly five seconds before it's finished.

You can just rent sov from one of the larger alliances, I can hook you up with the right contacts if you message me in game.

Ah but that is precisely why you should tell me.
If I wanted to do ill, I would need to know.
As I do not need to know, I can not do you ill
Therefore telling me does you no damage, and in fact keeps such damage from occurring.

Pff. Screw'em. Fresh-ground baby Titan is a great aphrodisiac.

It is also good sprinkled onto apple pie.
