OK, so a corp of a friend ofmine has been war-dec'd, industrial corp with no PvP experience. I am looking to find a corp willing to assist them (for reward of course). Where do I post?

Crime & punishment always had the mercenary thread, not sure how it is today as I haven't visited that forum in a long while (I'm now a respectable member of society). You can contact Alekseyev Karrde and ask if the mercenary hiring channel still exists.

That probably won't go well for you. As for the next poster, Kane has announced that he is no longer a merc. The Merc Contracts channel does still operate, and C&P also has a slew of veritable mercs with services for a fee.

Do hire this group, they deliver good results.
Just be careful in your wording if you happen to be using voice.
They are quite Frankish on the comms.
