Allow simple algebra when splitting stacks

When playing with trading and industry its very common to separate stacks of items and make calculations on it

I know i can use the integrated calculator to do the basic math involved in those operations, but things could go easier with a simple addition: allow simple algebra when splitting stacks

When you drag an item and release the drag pressing the shift key, you will be prompted to split the stack into a defined value. This prompt should also allow inputs of the type:
1743/2
823*11
924125-18000

For the sake of simplicity, all calculations are integer based (round or truncate, your call) and allows only the 4 basic algebraic operators

That would already help a lot

The next part is optional:

For an even better interpreter, inputs could come in the form of:
(1743 / 2) + 1000
29957 / 11 - 500 (when parentheses are omitted, follow the operator precedence rule)

Even though the polish prefix notation is actually better for algebraic calculations, I think it is totally optional as its a notation used in more specialized areas and is not part of the common knowledge

Yeah why not? Maybe a bit lazy but sometimes when I am fitting ships in different places it would be useful to drop 5*1920 or 22376-5000 ammo here and take the rest with me. Certainly the first part with only one operator should be very simple to implement.

Most legit idea on the F&I forum.

Nice one, would have been quite helpful on many occasions. Goes under 'low hanging fruit', duuu eet siisiipii.

Neat. Years too late.
