Stuck on one of the career agent missions

A little confused about Cash Flow for Capsuleers 2/10. When I go to the target destination the 2x wave of pirates that're supposed to be there don't show up. There's no gates or anything to use, either. Is it possible I've destroyed them already, didn't loot the contents to complete the mission and they don't "respawn" so to speak? I've been doing the missions out-of-order as I get confused since I'm still learning the game and may have ignored looting out of overlooking what exactly the objective was.

The objective is to loot the civilian miner person out of the cargo container dropped by the last pirate you kill.

You have a mission journal somewhere in the menu on the bar on the left of your screen, open it and you can re-read the mission details, as well as whether the objective is completed or not.

The NPC's should also re-appear, if not in several hours then after the daily server downtime, so just do other missions and leave this one for later / tomorrow.

If he killed the trigger NPC that drops the can with the civilian miner the NPC's won't reappear after downtime.

Yeah, I picked up (and attempted) the quest yesterday evening and after downtime it still isn't there. How could I go about finishing this now? :x

You can try and petition it, though if you forget in a regugular mission or the objective item is forgotten, destroyed, stolen etc there is only two things you can do. One unfortunately is suck it up and fail the mission. Two is try a and buy it off contracts for an outrageous amount of money.

Always willing to help all you have to do is ask, though if you're in the other fleet I may not help the way you want. Just a heads up. Pub Channel: Lost Souls Trading Post

If you haven't already picked him up, the kidnapped miner should still be there in the container dropped by the last NPC.

The mission should still be open - go back and look for the container, making sure you have containers checked in your overview (but un-check them afterwards, or they become a PITA in other circumstances).

Btw, what do you mean when you say you're doing the missions out of order? You can't request a new mission until you've successfully completed the previous one.
