Had some ideas about null sec.

Something kind of annoys me about how the map is set up, it would seem that the lowest security systems (-1.0) should be the furthest from high sec, on the outer edge of the map, with -.9 a little further in, and so on and so fourth until you reach empire space, which shouldn't have low sec. systems intertwining with high sec ones.. it makes no sense for the high sec carebears. This may have been stated before but there should be serious differences as you head into lower security space (towards the outside of the map in my version of EVE).

From 1.0 space to .4 space should be high sec. carebear paradise
.3 to -.4 systems should be like null sec is now
and -.5 to -1.0 systems should offer the best opportunities for potential self made billionaires in all of new eden, but you can warp to 0 on anyone in local.... yeaaaaaaaaa

I also think trade hubs are a stupid idea, at least in the form of one station where everyone goes. Let buying and selling be regional, If I buy something anywhere in sinq laison (where Dodixie is), bring the items to me.. I don't feel like going to jita IV, make the gankers work for it.

I like EVE, I hardly expect anything in the game to change because of something I think, and people will probably hate my ideas anyway, but I just wanted to say these things to someone.. so there, they are said, good day.

I wouldn't go for the hub idea, however I would like Interbus transports to be introduced, but until then Courier contracts works the love for me.

Kill jita and we the players will simply make another hub. Jita is not the first.

Haul drones will be a good idea. Courier contract is good but reacts slow by player, does not suit small low value item transportation within couple jumps.

Also it will help to avoid the trade hub problem. But you drones will still possible to get ganked anywayBig smile

Should not be necessary, to have a single place where i'm forced to go, and courier contracts? lol no, just save me 6 or 7 jumps, and auto mail me my stuff.

A lot of other space to do business in. High-sec should be left to new players and the little coddled children who can't handle conflict in a PvP game.

As I said elsewhere , many people play EVE to relax, manufacture stuff, hang out with friends, not to have an FC yelling at them for allegedly making the team lose a PVP match. If forced to PVP, many would rather leave.

Confirming, no one likes EMO raging FC's spamming alliance crying for more Logi's, furthermore people are tired of CTA online

Read that in another thread and it made me laugh, also where i got the idea of a massively profitable area of space, where you could warp to anyone in the system on 0, I'm not necessarily saying I would go out there, but I know some people would like it necause it gives the game the one thing it doesn't have, a guaranteed fight somewhere other than a gate.

And of course you'll base it in VFK-IV.

They are working for it already. But something tells me you don't want to work for it. It is a stupid idea that would completely kill local markets and take away much of the gameplay related to industry, logistics and trading.

We the players can nerf hisec / boost low/null ourselves by simply refusing to sell our megacyte morphite and moon mins in hisec.. if we sold our stuff in npc null and lowsec exclusively at jita prices, how long before the enterprising carebear took the chance to have the cheapest little jaguar for sale in hisec? We cater our rare goods right to the carebears doorstep then whine that they don't come out and play. Seems solvable to me

If someone craps in your sandbox: 1. Light it on fire 2. Grab your shovel 3. Throw it back at them.

Would it? how exactly? Your right, I don't feel like doing extra jumps when what I need should be available right out of low-sec, so I could spend my time doing things I want. Industry logistics and trading would be fine, they'd just be more spread out. (stupid ganker doesn't want potential ganks going anywhere other than jita, buy a friend loser)

That's not what that means.

Jita 4-4 arose naturally as a trade hub because players were using it as one. When the empires were separated by low-sec it wasn't a hub (or at least not as big as one as it is now) because it didn't have it's current central location as a crossroads, of sorts. Once those low-sec systems dissapeared and Jita became geographically important, people started to move goods there to sell them. If CCP did something to make Jita and undesireable trade hub, the markets would move somewhere else.
