Not-Very-Useful applications
proudly presents
EVE CYCLES

Download the application here : http://dl.eve-files.com/media/1212/EVECycles_1.0.zip

You can see the PDF file online at http://www.scribd.com/doc/117640108/Eve-Cycles
For those who wont ^^, i have copied and pasted some text of it (but seriously, PDF has images lol):

EVE Cycles is a “not-very-useful application”. LOL. That is the truth. But this also means that it is not completely useless. After the festive spirit of the recent not-so-useful gifts from ccp to all of us, I decided I would also like to give a not-so-useful gift to my eve friends. After all, it's late December!

EVE Cycles helps a miner managing his strippers. We all know that by right clicking the stripper and selecting ‘show info’, EVE is informing us of how much m3 is the stripper gathering per cycle, but the survey scanner gives us info on how many pieces of ore is available. EVE Cycles simply does the calculating math for the miner. It calculates how many pieces of specified ore you mine. With one look you know how many in a quarter of a cycle, a half, 3/4 and a full cycle. Therefore you know (almost) exactly when to stop the stripper. Never again waste time or do extra damage runs on your crystals!
EVE Cycles is a simple application that its window is set to ‘stay-on-top’ of all your windows. So you need to run EVE client in windowed mode. The application is meant to be inside your view of the game.

No installation is needed. You simply run the EVECycles.exe file. When you first run EVE Cycles, it will open with default settings but it will always remember your last settings, such as the number of strippers and the ore types but also its exact position on the screen.

For more information on what buttons do pls RTFM lol.

Heartful wishes for a healthy, creative
and smiling 2013 to all of us!

thank you CCP for hosting and supporting this awsome universe of human behaviors!

kisses and fly strange

i didn't miss the point, but really, partial cycles really aren't that big of a deal. no enough for me to want to actively check my cycles and then check it against some third party app.

far too much effort for very little gain.

since my first words in the OP i was honest. this is a not-very-useful application.
so there is no point in discussing if this effort worths it. because it doesnt.

i cant materialize a shiny collectible item inside the game and give it to you for xmas,
as ccp did. so i implemented the closest idea according to my abilities.

it works well, it is imho shiny and adds more prestige to your screen lol
most important of all, its not completely useless. if u feel like using it,
it actually does save you time, esp when you have to mine a lot of small rocks. lol.

:)))

fly strange my friend :)
