I would say 4 to 5b some place... but would have to depend on you finding someone wanting a alt like this... its very close to very many things haha

The problem with that estimate is you can get a char like this with 20+mil sp for 5-6bil

yes you can... if you find someone desperate to sell.

some 1.8m sp pilots are worth 2b also... and some 20m sp pilots are worth 10b... but we are talking about this one pilot.
You want a good price that is fine.. but the question was how much is it worth.. that is my best estimate.
And I have done this for years... I look at prices daily even tho I actually stopped buying and selling really.

your two examples are worth WAY more then that... they was just desperate to sell.. (also dont forget that some of these that you see go ridiculously cheap are actually hacked accounts so they are in a hurry to sell before CCP catch them.) I should know I have tried buying atleast 3 of those in the past.

Dont care to keep bumping. Gemblog is a scam tool... it is usually no where near what things are really worth unless they got 50m sp or more. for lower sp you take gemblog and add transfer costs. unless offcourse you are desperate to sell. Then you sell for cheaper.

Pilot traders will push prices down when buying and up when selling... exactly like market traders..

Also yet again I stress the point that the person asked a price check.. this was MY PERSONAL view on this pilots price based on what I personally would pay. Supply and demand....

This is the key here, this char is all over the place with no real focus. you could find someone to pay that much but you will prob be bumping for a while. I have found http://gemblog.nl/skill/ to be pretty accurate for what chars sell for just adding the cost of transfer to the value. I personally wouldn't pay more than 3.5 for this char but others might.

And yes I took extreme examples I have seen in the last 24 hrs but there are always people posting cheep chars particularly indie chars.

That is what I did minus 500mil, the char is worth 2.8 on Gemblog I am willing to pay just under that + the transfer cost. I dont believe it is a scam tool I use it exactly the way you suggest and the lack of focus on the char is why I would pay 500mil less.

I too answered in what I would pay not what others would pay, you might be able to get 4-5 if you didn't want a quick sale and are willing to wait for the price you want, it is just a matter of how much time and energy you are willing to put into the sale. I personally believe you would have a hard time getting 5bil but thats just me, and I have only been watching the char market for about 3 months so others might have a better understanding of what you might get.
