Gas Mining - A Carebears Journey.

...anyway, what is the point of this thread? Carebear smacktalk about "stealing" gas?

I remember a while ago, we opened into a wormhole, shot a Navy Domi in a site. Was a c4, so he had a tengu providing reps, and he was dishing it out. Drake also for support. I got point in my tackle-tengu(as you do). His buddies warped off as our fleet landed. 1 Navy Domi to us. We then brought in a merlin fitted with salvagers to loot the wrecks. I obviously had a cloaky watching the POS the whole time. They were trying to bait us to the POS(why? i have no idea). I may have got carried away after the fight and did a bit of smack. Something about being blasted to Infinity... I then got told it was some classy smack, which was amusing really. Then, just as we were leaving after getting 100mil from their site, we posted in local. They knew we were there, so what the hell. "In your site, stealing your loot..." They waited 10 minutes, and went to check it out..

Another time, we ran 2 Mag sites in a c5, under a corp that were offline. Left a can anchored at their sun, thanking them for the 3 billion ISK worth of loot we got in there, and left.

Finally, we were running sites in our c3 static one day, and some guys from a c4 started doing hauling runs thru the system. We let them be for a while, until one of our guys put a HIC on their hole. Loads of scanning ships came out, and the guy was soon convo'd. These guys were many parts of fail. They assumed we were the locals of the system, and told us about an incoming C4(ours at the time). We then moved our PvE fleet out, and got a large PvP fleet, complete with smartboming BSs, and more bubbles.
After a time, he said,"Why don't you just close the hole then, if you don't want to do the sites anymore?". So we did, and they all got shut out of the hole... 2 Days later, corp had very few members!

All this, is continuing the OPs theme of, "'cos i can"...

I once got station-camped in npc nullsec while jumping my rorq. I went and walked my dog, then I had lunch with my wife. Then I played something else for a few hours. Lo and behold, the camp was gone.

See? I can make content-less posts too.

Ptraci, did you encounter any bubbles while walking the wife and having lunch with your dog? You see it's details like this that really make a good tale of space shenanigans.

Hello Ginger. Yes ma'am, sorry. I neglected to explain. I mean I wouldn't say "kewl" but many a Sleeper fell in order for me to "sack" this wh. Perhaps "plunder" would be a better description?

Honestly, it's just for a laugh, you know? It's Christmas time in New Eden too. Why must we be so damn serious all the time, people? It's not like I did anything wrong - they obviously didn't care about the gas or it wouldn't still have been there. Plus there'll be a whole new set of anoms after this morning's downtime for them to scan down if they so choose. In any case, I did them a favor - those Russian toons are probably passed out in a viagra/stripper/vodka-induced coma by now. See? Do I know how to throw a good party, or what?

Sorry to disappoint sir, but this was a solo op. I pretty much just wanted somewhere to try out the Venture and give it a good go at a gas field, cos everyone says it's so damn ninja at it. And I have to say I was not disappointed there!

But even if I was crazy enough to try for their POS, it would have been a tough fight - I have to hand it to those Russians - they have defended the sh*t out their base. There was more defense and weapons mods than could fit in my overview. I would not have liked to have tried it, even when they're asleep. Never mind when they're active!

just wanna point out that sig bloom from the expanders will make others lock your anathema faster

..yes, I can see that worked out well for them.. that's what they get for using little ones.
