We as players know that Empress Sarum is secretly controlled by the sleeper spawned entity known as the Other.
Will there be any direct inclusion of him/her/it into future deep running Live events and stories, it could also be a good way to explain the lack of any Jove contact as according to the Jove in Templar One the Jove went to war with whatever forces the Other controls (given previous revelations from the early days of the Incursions showing Sansha within Jove space I'm willing to bet Kuvakei is also under the other's control)

Or will the Other be left untouched until CCP makes the best story decision ever and brings back Tony

I can confirm that we have plans that may or may not include the Other having a role in live events.

Well stuff involving the Other, Sleepers and Jove (and if you have time the Talocan, seriously who the hell are they we know virtually zip about them.) would be nice. Sleeper and Jove meeting up would no doubt make for an interesting reunion considering the shared history they have.

Well if you want to keep them hidden away in CCP's secret vault that's fine for me to be perfectly honest. P Of all the Ancient/Advanced races we know about, the Jove are not the most interesting. Not to for me anyway, can't speak for anyone else.

Frankly, I would be quite happy if the Other, Jamyl's "possession", and several more elements of The Empyrean Age / Templar One "meta-storyline" never showed up in live events, for the simple fact that many elements of them would utterly destroy many players' ability to continue playing their chosen factions' positions.

I'm not saying that everyone needs to be consistently all "cheerleader" super-loyal to the exact norm of their faction. A little dissension and variety is good.

Revealing the fact that - according to TonyG - several national leaders and numerous other characters regularly ignore the foundations of their cultures, betray the tenets on which their cultures were founded, or just display startling degrees of stupidity for people at the highest levels of government, on the other hand, would likely crush a lot of people interested in playing those sides - especially people who've been involved in the game for extended periods of time (myself included).

There have been a lot of real-world figures that have held influential and public positions that have been called out of touch for a behavioural display or an apparent lack of national understanding.

Some of the facts though, must be like "If this is real I'm joining Arkombine/Templis Dragonaurs"

Good question....

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

Sounds an allot like the real world don't it.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

World leaders being imperfect is one thing.

Virtually every world leader or government official being willfully beholden to a hostile government, uncaring about their own people, mismanaging critical resources with a level of stupidity that would have been immediately apparent to everyone around them or willfully and totally betraying the ideals nation they lead is an entirely different matter.

It's not that it occurred, it's that in many places in TEA/T1 it's pervasive at every level of government and military, for effectively every government and military in the cluster.

We should all know that the governance of the New Eden cluster isn't black and white all the time....just because there acting slightly differently to how you would ideally want them to be does not mean they betraying the ideals of the nation....and remember, alot of the decisions that Sarum has made are actually those of the Other seeking its own ends through Sarum.

Hence why I hope we have some long-running Live event that allows us capsuleers to uncover the true nature behind the Other and help rid Sarum of it.

Hate to see all the dusties being the pawns of insane AI

The Talocan are a bit of an enigma, but at least they were nice enough to leave their abandoned ships floating in Anoikis for us to find. If only I could scoop one up instead of salvaging it, I'd be a happy camper. I can scoop other ships into a carrier, why not Abandoned Talocan ships? I'd be happy with even a little bit more backstory on them, and that's not just because of my alliance name.

Oh that would be so nice, I'd scoop one up take it apart see what made it tick and build a new one. And yeah the Talocan are one heck of a mystery. After reading Templar One I really was annoyed. We got this whole backstory about the Sleepers and how they ended up in Anoikis and yet not a single word was said about the Talocan who lived right next door basicly.

Ever since I found out about the Talocan and their apparent skill in spatial manipulation I wanted to know more about them. And with the Inferno chronicle confirming these folks knew how to fold space in a way the Empires can only dream off. Just plain awesome. And I also really like the design or their structures and ships. Although there could have been a little more variety in the ships.
