I'm not even checking to see if there's really a WoW expansion containing the word "Pandaria". The name sucks at my brain cells like a migratory exotic parasite even when used in jest. Sad

You can look. It's got nothing to do with WoW. It's better.

EDIT: Oh crap... It does have to do with WoW...

Also, I'm still fuzzy on what ship that is on the bottom left... is that a navy comet? And between the atron and the catalyst, is that a ship a station or a stargate?

WOW is on its last legs - it should start seeing a mass decline in players starting now, or about 3 months after they release that expansion

It brought such a huge smile to my face, to see blizzard link the teaser video for it, and to see every single comment which the user's wrote condemming it, calling it cheap, and well, crap.

There is no MMO or other game that has killed wow - it's killed itself :)

I do have a feeling people will rush to SWTOR - as it IS WOW, just in a starwars setting. Something new and exciting for them after how many years of garbage?

Well, considering CCP has been fixing things that were deemed "unfixable" in just a few short weeks, I guess it could be. I somehow doubt it though... it would be too awesome.

Gallente greenhouse station.
That isn't the official name but it's the one with the vast forests under the transparent shields.

I wish that this was true but when you dive deep into the WOW community you realize that the only thing that will kill WOW is the next Blizzard MMO.

With their yearly pass they have already stopped the cannibalization of their subscriptions when Diablo III comes out, and with the fact that you are automatically in the next beta it will keep their sub numbers higher.

SW:TOR is great, the questing is better the environment feels better the lore feels better put together, but again unless you see large numbers of friends leaving WOW for SW:TOR you will not see WOW die, people will stick with what ever game that has the highest number of their friends playing.

Blizzard is smart, and one of the top game development companies in the world. They only release AAA titles and will hold off until they are sure it is AAA. You cannot kill WOW until you kill Blizzard. I am a Blizzard fan boy but not so much a fan of WOW.

Funny part is that ages ago the Pandara were nothing but an April fools joke by Blizzard.

Now, years later they are suddenly a real expansion. :P

I cant remember for which of their RTS titles, but initially it was an april fools joke about the hidden fourth race in the title.

Then, a few years after that they played another April fools joke poking fun at Everquests2 /pizza command that was implemented. And yes, EQ2 really did implement a /pizza command from within the game that would contact pizza hut and deliver a pizza.

Blizzard unveiled Pandara express which was the same concept, but with chinese food instead of pizza.

Difference was that Blizzards was a joke and the one in EQ2 wasn't.
