Can we get Tabs for hangars and haulers?

I know you just took out the "divisions," from POS hangars and the ORCA, and that was probably for good reasons. But it would help a lot to just have a simple, accessible sorting interface feature on all our hangars (station and POS), and on each cargo area for every ship that is designated as a hauler. These don't need to be securable or anything; just simply a row of tabs across the top of the big space where stuff goes, where you can drag an item onto any tab, and then it only appears when you click that tab. You could make some fixed, single-digit number of them, like five or eight. Being able to name them would be nice, but even just having Tab 1 through Tab 5 would be a help. There should also be a default "ALL" tab all the way to the left in the string of tabs that will show everything stored in the hangar or cargo hold, in case you forget where something is.

EvE is supposed to suck.  Wait . . . what was the question?

Well I guess you could get the same thing by being really clever with filters :D

could just use the fancy new freight containers, 5k and 10k now for haulers. It's what i do anyway and they are listed nicely in the inventory navigation pane.

I assume they have the same problem as all containers, which is that they have volume in the space. That's not a problem in a station hangar, but it is in a POS or hauler. It's nice that the containers are integrated with the new inventory UI as they are, but the problem is that if you want to sort something between a number of bins, then you will always wind up wasting some amount of limited cargo volume, unless you're dealing with items that come in 1.0 m3 units and you have exactly enough of each thing to completely fill all the containers that will fit in the available space.

Containers are nice if you can fill them, because they let you move the contained things from one place to another as a unit. But unless you really need to pick all that stuff up and move it, they're more trouble than they're worth. The idea with tabs is it's purely a sorting system, not a container system, so it lets you do what you want to do, without doing things you don't need to do.
