Docking to... Captain's Quarters ?!?!

It's happened a few times now, and totally randomly at that, I dock up in a station and without wanting the station puts me in the captain's quarters. Am I the only one getting this? Anyway, it's annoying as ****.

Were you typing at the time? The hanger swapping button on the station panel is the default button for enter when docking.

Did you accidentally switch it to auto load the CQ? You can completely disable the CQ in the options menus.

The enter key? Or the button to switch the views?

To the other above post: Problem is that you can't disable the CQ alone, turning off station environment disables the station spin too and makes it into a static image of your ship.

Yeah you can only put the super-boring static hanger view. And i have no keys to either enter the CQ or the ship hangar. I don't get it...

You don't get what an "enter" key is on your keyboard?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

When you dock, the chat window is no longer the focus, but the Enter Captain's Quarters or whatever button is.
If you're chatting when you dock, you will stop typing in the chat window, and hitting the "enter" key will be the same as clicking to go into the CQ.

Yeah, this. I remember falling for it first time CQ was introduced. Considering my video card at the time had SERIOUS trouble with CQ graphics (avatar would be untextured blue, and took a sickeningly long time to load), I remember how aggravating it was. Especially since the first time this happened I was trying to quickly re-ship and instead ended up spending 5 mins waiting for CQ to load, only to unload it.

Fix would definitely be nice.

Same happens to me few times, but is ok, i dont pay atention on this thing, i hit the back to normal view button and after im again in normal station mode i feel realy free.

This pirson cell make me sick, i wont enter this pseudo wis until somone unlock closed door, would be nice to have even one window on outside view... Probably technicaly possible...

To clarify: the "Enter Captain's Quarters" button is highlighted by default upon docking, so if you push either Enter or Space while typing, it gets clicked and you get thrown into CQ.

Nope, random bug has been happening to some of my accounts as well. None of them are set to CQ.
Guess CCP is going to stealth force us to use it....Lol
