It's really hard to profit from bpcs for some ships. Currently there is alot of speculation on Orcas because of the recent changes. Prices could go up because of increased ganks, or prices could go down because because people decided to stop using them. So there is alot of manufacturing and sales of them at the moment, which means people boost up prices of the bpo's.

Best thing to do is figure out all the minerals you'll need, and the prices, then figure out what the current Orca value is and whatever is left is what you cann spend on BPC's and profit.

Or, forgot to include this link. It will tally up all the costs / items required for a ship (Orca) so you don't even really need to do any research or maths.

i mostly wanted to know because i dont relay have the isk to spend on a orca but i do have the time to mine the ore and buy what i cant mine but if in the long run it costs as much + the fact i had to spend time to mine then its easier to just and makes more sense to just buy it out right ill check out the link thanks for the info and the link

thats not counting the price of the bpcs im guessing so cheeper to just buy it out right then

I don't think the profit margin between the cost of the minerals, and the sell price of an Orca, is huge. Maybe 5% to 15%. And you'll have to buy the BPCs, which eats into that profit margin, mmking it even smaller. So you'd really be better off just mining the minerals, then selling them, and finally buying your Orca - from the market - when you have enough ISK.

At the moment of writing , profit from manufacturing an orca is ~11 mil ISK. Sinq Laison Prices.

Also, the minerals you mine, aren't free.

The tears of the many, outweigh the tears of the few. Or the one. enterprise-psi©

I can build one for you free of charge if you supply materials. There will be a delay until my BPO finishes copying though.

My Orca BPO is ME 6 (perfect), and my parts BPO are ME 200. Contact me via EVE-mail if interested.
