Live Events Over Christmas & New Year

Hi Guys!

So I want to talk to you all about Live Events over the Christmas period.

The Eve Illuminati is made up of a very dedicated set of guys and girls, who are pretty much all former long term role players in EVE Online.

That said however, Christmas is coming and a lot of the members of our team will have family and travel commitments over the holiday season. As such they'll need to be away from the office and this is going to have an impact of the scale of Live Events until the New Year, so I just thought I'd put this out there as a note to let you guys know.

I think this is kind of fair, since we've had so much awesome participation and time investment from the player base so far.

We'll be winding down the scale of Live Events for the Christmas period after this week, and things will quieten down a little. A lot of the team will be heading off to visit family and friends for the holiday season, but I'll be sticking around in the office over the holidays with a few of the guys to co-ordinate smaller scale events until the team is back up to full strength in the New Year.

So, in summary: Don't be concerned if you see the Live Events shrink over the holidays. We have some cool plans for YC115, and things are going to get awesome when the holiday season is over and we're all back in the office.

Hopefully you guys will bring more of the war into highsec for yc115. The current setup just is putting up a barrier to too much of the player base.

Used to love the live events but I hate pvp, would love to see some come in reach of the little people.

Why? Doesn't mean there aren't going to be events in lowsec any more.
