Hello my fellow capsuleers.

I would like to say first and foremost that I do approve of the expansion or patch.

1. Something I was confused about was the different "Inventory" and "Ship Cargo". They are the same window, are they not? Why do I have access to two completely separate but completely similar windows? Redundant?

2. Next, I am trying to figure out how you organize loot cans I open in the inventory window.
01
11
06

I opened or created these cans in the following order: 01, 06, 11.

Not sure what equation determines the order of the cans in the list below my ship inventory tab. But why am I not able to organize these jet cans by name, distance, or the order they were opened?

I have 5 characters and each of them have their jet cans ordered differently, despite being opened alpha-numerically. There seems to be a random order when I rename the cans.

*EDIT* I have noticed, it was RENAMING the cans that put them in a random order.

3. The next subject: When I drag an item into a container that is FULL. why do I have to click the OK window? Why is my entire game disabled until I click an error I have already read three years ago? Why am I just not given a simple text warning that the inventory is full without having some box appear. You do this for other errors. Why not this error?

4. Mining Crystals vs Ammo. When you run out of Ammo, the lovely voice tells you your ammo is depleted and begins to reload. When you run out of a mining crystal, it silently replaces the crystal and makes no sound of this. I run multiple accounts in mining and I know exactly when my combat guy is out of missiles. But when one of my mining guys goes through a cycle and one of this three lasers replaces a crystal, of course not reactivating is smart, but some kind of sound effect for us non-botters would be appreciated. Like the sound of a crystal breaking. Something simple and short. Nothing to scare us.

5. Showing the m3 amount my mining laser can mine from any ore and its specific ore when I hover my mouse over the module when in space.

6. Mining Crystal and Amarr Crystal damage and other damage meters like scripts or whatever (I don't ewar). The only way to see if a crystal is damaged is to be out in space and hover the mouse over it and wait until it shows up. Why not create a simple meter like a light or a pixel on the module that shows the damage from GREEN( .01 - .33), YELLOW( .33 - .66), and RED( .66 - 1.00, or near broken)

7. Status Breakdown Equations in Ship Fitting: Add a new button in the Ship Fitting window that shows all of your "Original Stats" (before skills and modules) and an "Actual Stats" (after skills and modules). And when you hover over the number, it will show the math equation that brings upon this. When you move the mouse over each part of the equation it will show the breakdown from your skills and modules that bring about the boost.

Stats would include everything from EHP, DPS, Mining Amount, Drone Stats, Targetting Range, etc. Everything and anything that your ship does with some module like a Probe Launcher that is boosted in efficiency with bonuses from your ship, the module, the probes, implants, and your skills will all be displayed, in the order from the Base Modifier to the Secondary and Tertiary quantitative attributes that increase your efficiency with every stat related to a probe launcher. There can also be "blank" parts of the equation showing that there is still room for improvement in some unknown category.

Certainly there are the many ship fitting programs we could all run to and get some unrealistic stats out of game.. but that's OUT OF GAME.

8. Anonymous Census - Would it not be a pleasant experience to open up the Census Window? This is a window that would break down the entire population of New Eden. The total number of all unique capsuleers broken down between Full Members and Trials. You can see the total population count. You can then check who pays and who plexes!

What about skill points? How many players have between 10,000,000 skill points and 12,000,000 skill points? How many have over 100,000,000 skill points? Completely anonymous! Find out how many players on are the same page as you! What about, "How many players have Gunnery V trained? Or how many players have over 10,000,000 skill points in the Gunnery Skill Tree?

How about, "How many players have over 100,000,000,000 isk?" And it will show you the number of players in the world of EVE Online who have over that much isk in their wallet. What about.. corporations? How many corporations have over 100,000,000,000 isk in their wallet? It is completely anonymous, you would never know who it was unless that person announced it, and of course proved it with a screenshot.

When would this data be taken and published? It of course would not be a live data stream. The best time would be to update the Census every day at Down Time. And this data would be accessible via the EVE Online website.

"How many players are from before 2005?" "How many players spend more than 90% of their game time in 0.1 to 0.4 security status systems?" "How many Rifters have been destroyed by players in the past 24 hours?" "How many Hulks were undocked yesterday?" "How much isk was traded in "X Region" yesterday?"

I do believe that such answers to any of these questions would leave capsuleers staggering with surprise to the actual numbers.

9. (forum-related) that little thing on the bottom right that says the Draft was saved, could you take that out of the window I am typing in because it blocks that bottom right corner 8P

10. When are you going to make the EVE Offline Side-scroll Shooter? (random) (only 10,000 isk per coin to play!)

11. Show me where these "HTML" parts are to my thread. Since it is not letting me post them, which there are none. Frustrating.

Thank you for reading and considering my ideas. Take care.

Hi.
Some good thoughts here. I would like to add to a few of them though:

3. Because you can choose to either cancel the moving or allow it to fill up as much as the cargo hold can take. It's not just a simple error message, it's asking you what you want to do.

5. This IS in effect but unfortunately advanced laser modules do not have it showing. Seems three entries is currently max and it is already showing Module type, Crystal Type and Max Distance.
Do the same on a T1 Stripper or any Mining Laser and you'll see yields, just does not work with T2 Strippers yet.

6. Agreed. A way, any way, to check the damage status on a crystal when docked or when in inventory would be great. Having to load it and hover over module is right now the only way. Whcih makes it hard when wanting to check 5 crystals for damage if only having 3 modules to load them in as when you remove one to place another one in your inventory does not show you which one you just removed so you could end up checking the same crystals over and over.

8. Some I agree with, others I don't. PLEX users vs Subscribers I don't. It's not as simple as "Trial" vs "Full" members anyway as anyone that has ever used a PLEX becomes a "Full" member and is no longer on a Trial account.

Otherwise having some indications to some statistics, or general percentile of yourself, could be fun.
I'd rather have it in the way of comparing with oneself. What percentile am I in when it comes to carried ISK and ISK worth (with modules, ships, and so on). What percentile of killed ships, P and E ships, and what percentile of lost ships, both amounts and ISK worth. Though being able to find out how many people are within a certain range I'd have to oppose. It would make it way too easy to figure out things from a searchable census database.

Cheers

Add blinky sounds to any Overview blinky results.

I am specifically meaning a container that is already 100% full. When I am out mining and using jet cans and I accidentally click the wrong jetcan to put the next cycle of ore into, and I accidentally misclick a full can, I am disabled with an ERROR box that I have to click okay. The window tells me the can is full. Yea, no kidding. A simple text window that just says, "That can is full" without disabling my entire screen until I click OK would be much better.

Thank you for your input! I greatly appreciate the additions!
