Hello,

20% bounty reward for people blowing other people up will make it so people have to put up bounties 5x times higher in order to actually get the desired effect? I mean if you wanted someone dead for 1 million isk you would have to put 5 million on his ass because people will only get paid 20% of the actual bounty for killing him. Or is the idea just to pool enough money on a guy until he finally reaches a level where he is worth destroying. And wont he just be destroying himself them

Why is the concept of loss value so difficult that it has to be explained in every bounty thread ?

You get 20% of (destroyed ship value + destroyed module value - insurance value) given the bounty is high enough to cover this sum.

Whatever if the first question is true or not, your second speculation still applies I'm sure

''The 20% payout is based on the loss value of the kill report, not on the bounty pool itself. ''

That's from the devblog itself,. meaning that if you place a 1 million bounty, 5 million worth in ships/modules/implants would have to be destroyed before the bounty is lifted.

Seems pretty nice. That automatic value counter was a good thing to happen to eve. opens up for a lot of cool stuff
