Eve active extraction failed : 3

I have tried to install Eve on my new computer. But everything I try, I keep getting this message: eve active extraction failed : 3.

I have also tried every solution I can find in the forum but still could not solve the problem.

Please help...

Did you try download files from this page?

You can always write petition too

Got all those 3 files and still did not work...

Make sure you have enough hard drive space on your main windows drive (eve is currently using 11GB for one install on my machine) . If this doesn't help File a Petition under technical, and installation and patches and I'm sure a GM will give you the direct help needed.

I've had the same problem, with the online installer and the offline files.
What I eventually did, was to get the repair tool, place it in a new empty eve directory which i created, and then let the repair tool run a couple of times until it said all was done. Took a while, but it worked.
