New BPO's in ORE stations?

Maybe I missed it, I have been watching for the announcement but haven't seen it as of yet.

Will the new ORE frigate BPO's be seeding in Outer Ring like the Orca? That made for a very fun rush on ORE stations and made for some dynamic game content for a week or so, with pirates setting up camps and patrols, industrialists trying to get in and out undetected, etc...

Also, being that I live a hop skip and jump away, I'm eye-balling profit.

FC, what do?

CCP Ytterbium, where (and when) will the BPO for the Mining Frig be available?

My current assumption would be Outer Ring Ex, in Cloud Ring null, and the 4th December.

Yes, the BPO will be seeded from ORE as usual. We trust players will quickly buy and manufacture them to make a profit with Retribution.

Also, it is always delicious to have a few of these blueprints fall to gate camps when trying to smuggle them back to trade hubs Twisted.

Every character will get one from industrial tutorial mission, which can be redone with every race. They are the very first mining ship in the game and should be easily acquired, so the bpo's have to fight over freely given though limited, mission ships.

There will not be the rush to profit like the noctis. There WILL be some profit, yet nowhere near the magnitude.
Instead of smuggling only a couple bpos out, people will be grabbing hundreds.

I made some decent isk in the days following the Noctis release. Too bad the price crashed within a week of their release. Cry

The Orca wasn't purely an ORE design, it was a joint-venture with DCM (Deep Core Mining Inc.). There's a couple of DCM stations in highsec.

As for pirate camps, that imo, really depends on the frigate BPO pricing and its desirability rating. I remember back then with the Noctis BPO (circa 2010), which had sub-500mil pricing and off-the-scale desirability rating (because almost everyone wanted a dedicated salvager for their NPC grind). The camps were VERY extensive for 4C-B7X, the alternate NM-OEA was only slightly safer. This new ORE mining frigate is an extension of the mining barge family which shines best in null/low/WH environments and for newbie miners. In terms of desirability rating, I'd put it as avg to below avg since its output won't win over the rest of the mining barge family. Price wise, I'd estimate a sub 50-100mil price for the BPO. Hardly anything to get worked up over.

Oh .. there'll be camps allright, but nothing as exciting from the Noctis days. Bleh.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that the salvage drone bpo will be in outer ring. Also a bit expensive 20 or 40 mil each.

Just fyi, I could also be not remembering right, or making **** up.

True but not everyone in EVE is smart enough to go and collect their BPO in this way. Pretty sure we will see some more derp kills while people go to get the BPOs.

On test salvage drones are seeded all over space for about 27m

The Venture is only 2.5m in outer ring

Ohh I loved the days of the noctis release.. getting my BPO was FUN. Dodging camps left, right and center.. yay for black ops jump bridges.

Maybe we'll see a repetition of that.. though at that price, I'm probably just going to wait till theya re nice and cheap in jita or something like that. No sense risking a covops or other fancy toy over a low price BPO.

Atleast anyone can get a free Venture from Mountains of Molehills 2 of 10.
And with three starter systems per race, that's 12 "free" Ventures for those that don't want to deal with the launch bpo price war.

Mountains of Molehills 10 of 10 will not offer a 5 run Venture bpc as of current test.
