Is compressed ore worth selling?

I regularly mine ore in a wh with rorqual support so i tend to accumulate large amounts of compressed ore. The isk estimate seems to indicate that compressed ore is 5 or 6 times more valuable and checking market prices seems to show that compressed ore is sold at least at twice the price of normal ore. My question is a.) Do people actually buy compressed ore in hisec at those prices? and b.) if yes which compressed ore are people more likely to buy?

I don't know if at those prices, but I would just assume people would pay a descent value on it since you cannot compress ore in hs. It also skeps the steps to manufacture items to compress minerals to null.

Id say your best bet is to check what Jita prices are and what the ore sells for and go with those prices, or look into the bulk item channel/mailing group and maybe you'll find someone to buy on those.

I think your best solution might be to find regular buyers. I'd be very interested myslf, if you have large amounts of compressed ore gathered in one station, or a few stations. So feel free to contact me.

To be honest, though, while I sometimes look for cheap ore for sale, i.e. quantities large enough to make it worthwhile to undock my Freighter, I stopped looking for Sell Orders of compressed ore long ago. Perhaps that was a mistake... But it's my impression that there just isn't being sold a lot of it.

Could check the prices in Jita and sell quantity, and you could also just sell in Low Sec. If you have enough you may make it worth it for some JF pilots to come down and buy your stock before jumping back to null. The less shipsments and hassle for transporting materials may make it worth it to them, though I will admit this is far from my area of expertise so it may be worth it to look into.

But to be honest it is more valuable than regular ore with it being compressed so I wouldn't refine it, I try to sell it. It's just a matter of where to sell, how long it take, and for what price.

just be wary of checking prices in jita, they're often used in scams as 'rare compressed ore' in contracts with vastly over-inflated prices.

It's pretty popular for the margin trading scam in all the hubs.

Look at the trade volume, not just prices.

If the price of compressed ore is higher than the value of the minerals by anything other than a small margin, that order is just a scam.

I always refined compressed ore from w-space mining, and sold the minerals.

My offer to buy compressed ore is certainly not a charity. I intend to profit from it.
