Player Features and Ideas Discussion

First off this is just my own opinion (and first full post)

One of the most common things ive seen mentioned on these forums as needing a serious amount of work is Drones. Everything from the User Interface to redoing the basic attributes of the drones has been mentioned.


Im thinking though perhaps CCP could do an entire drone themed next expansion for summer 2013.

Starting off with a couple of live events showing rogue drones appearing and battling sansha, driving him back. This would spice up the incursion running seen with a change of NPC. New tactics and new fits would likely need to be thought up. Hopefully this will bring back some of the fun we had when incursions first started, as well as giving new players the opportunity to get involved with some new Eve is Real live event moments. A thought just occured that this could even be linked into DUST with live events featuring drones on planet surfaces, not sure how this would be implemented though.

Along with the incursion changes, the planned changes to BC and BS could be put in here, as well as the drone suggestions below, including a MUCH needed interface update

I realise that there are thousands of more ideas out there that CCP have mentioned in the past (Ring-mining, POS overhaul etc) that players are crying out for and i dont want to be seen to be arguing against them!
