Can the CCP community team please get another color for the "thread" markers?

I use the DEV tracker and the color coded thread ribbons to find posts by the Devs about EVE development, and up until now the odd non-development related posts were fine, even appreciated.

But seeing as you've released 3 or more new community devs into the wild, the amount of chit chat community talk not related to development, is starting to get slightly annoying, when looking for new Dev posts.

There's not much point to this way of highlighting Dev posts, when every other thread on the front-page gets marked with one.

TL;DR, community team is awesome, please give them another color, like the GMs get red.

We can actually post without the badge when it's just general chit-chat, and of course when we remember to, if you'd prefer that? P

I'd rather not have you guys needing to think about if so-and-so post should show with or without your badge. You're community, thus, everything you post is relevant since it builds community.

It's just a bit counterproductive in terms of the Dev tracker to have the community and dev posts marked the same, when the system supports different badges, like the red ones for the GMs.

Agreed! The dev should have the usual sudo lecture before they get to tick the blue-tickbox-of-forum-warrior-aggro.

I agree, make it so that there's a checkbox for devs to click when their post is actually development related, otherwise the badge doesn't show up and clicking the badge only links to development related posts.

I like seeing Devs chatting with the 'Common' folk, not just aswering questions. Makes you seem more approachable.

If this will make such posts not to be shown in the dev post finder then that would be great. Also consider to untick "post with the blue bars" when you are enforcing forum rules like locking or moving threads - that will also save us a lot of time.

In theory if every time you didn't do something or post something "official" you removed the blue bar it would save a lot of whining.

However since it relies on you remembering to do it there's the chance you may do something official and forget to tick it, though thats not the end of the world.

Personally I don't mind it as CCP and GM posters are usually some of the only quality posters on here, so I guess it's whether or not you're sick of people whining because they can't see dev replies that are like some passing comment on a game mechanic which everyone would already know the answer too if they actually read the dev blogs.

What i'm trying to say is: I don't really care either way. Lol

Can I have a shiny silver tag so people can track topics I post in?

So, after reading the Dev Blog on the HML changes, could you run the numbers by me please?

So what you're saying is because of CCP Falcon posting OVER 9000 times, your 17 Mil idea will help?
