It would be nice to have the option of multiple overview windows, you could for example have: one overview open and loaded with a friendly-only preset next to one with a hostile-only, or an additional drones-only overview.

Yes, it would be great and I'm pretty sure it is somewhere on long list of improvements in one of sticky threads here.
