EVE would return to 2004

5-10K log in around 50K subs, 25K true player base.

80% of the staff would get a lay off slip. The troll brigade of GD would become cannibals and turn on each other, nobody would be on to moderate and EVE would fade away. Not dead, just not really alive.

All the people on this forum know it, they are just too smug and contemptuous to admit it.

You're right, Chess hasn't died. I guess that's because they didn't change the rules to make the game friendly for people who want to avoid PvP and player interaction.

Funny, but statistics indeed shows that whites have some sort of advantage. I demand to bring person who gave them Bishop BPO to justice!

But I hope you aren't serious about comparing chess with EVE...

OT: From my experience, it's just forums. In practice, for example, our incursion gang yesterday took a loss in personnel because some people left after another site to jumpclone into low to get some lurcative target of opportunity. I won't be surprized when those guys will jumpclone back today to smack some more Tamas.

^ Why not nerds play both, its hard to free roam in both, or neither has joysticks. Everyone is looking for an easy gank, if they can't get that they blue ball you. You sacrifice a lot to win in chess like in EVE, but realize your life sucks afterwards. the king rules, muck like a CEO. Its solo play, but at the same time its multiplayer. Both need constant UI updates. Inventory sucks in both games. (Who has something to carry around the board and pieces easily in.)
