History of player events as a timeline

I know there's a timeline of Eve fiction, and I know there are attempts at a history of eve (for example www.eve-history.net but it's incomplete and hasn't been updated in years), but I've got an idea for something that's lacking and I wanted to put this out there to see if it's already been done somewhere and I just can't find it.

I want a history of Eve that's all about major actions by players, corporations and alliances. I want it searchable by system, region and of course by the name of involved players, corporations and alliances. Oh, and by year and month.

Does this exist?

Does anyone want to help me create it if it doesn't?

I'm happy to do the hard work of collating the information onto a website, but I need people to give me the relevant information for me to put together. I probably need a LOT of people to give me information.

If you want to play a part in the construction of this timeline, please add your information to this thread in the following format:

Date: [day/month/year]
Player/corp/alliance involved: [name]
Region: [name]
System: [name]
Description of event: [as much information as you can remember or care to describe]

I'm seeking 'timeline-worthy events', like major battles, political changes and evolution, fascinating achievements or discoveries, etc, dating back to the days Eve Online began.

All contributors will be recognised on the resulting website Thank you for your help!

One time I was killed by a pretty big gate camp in lowsec. OMS, I believe.

The eve wiki has a huge number of battle reports and alliance details... its not organized really, but if you took the times, there is a lot of history hidden in the cracks.

i'm sure this will be an immensely unpopular suggestion but having seen the new 'timeline' feature on facebook, it would be awesome if a page was made for EvE's history either on Facebook or somewhere else that laid it all out.

PIE had an interesting timeline with all kinds of player events (vigil for emperor, imperial apoc) etc.

The only thing I know that would be more interesting than this is watching my kitchen faucet drip...well, maybe not the ONLY thing. Just say BoB owned everything from '03 till last year. Some bored folks took it from them figuring all BoB's members had long since gotten real lives and hadn't logged in years. The bored folks had the organizational abilities of a one-eyed newt, got distracted and vacated it all. Now, all space is empty unless filled with matter of some sort...then time begins...which is all relative of course.

Better yet. Read the "begets" in The Bible. It's more fun.

If you haven't been killed by an OMS gate camp you probably never left the starter system.

Events started by the Devs to provide entertainment.

Like before there were the 4 Titans there was a fifth one that a Dev took on a Rampage and the players had to hunt it down. Or the time they had a Jove fleet set upon K-Space with a Dev a Jove Battleship.
