Yes - When is POCO going to be implemented?
I didn't see anything in the devblog about that...

In the main thread I believe he said everything is ready to go, but they either don't have a time worked out yet, or they just don't want to say.

Theres a lot of info not covered in the dev blog in that thread, I really reccomend reading it, otherwise its just going to be the same questions asked again.

…if only there was some thread where the devs kept looking and provided answers to questions relevant to a recently posted blog. Roll

The answer is in the dev blog thread. There are search tools.

I believe they said somewhere between 'American Thanksgiving' and Christmas, which for the Google impaired, would imply somewhere between the 24th Nov and 25th Dec 2011.

this is one of the worst Idea's ccp ever had, if they have any brains left they will trash this idea and move on to stuff that needs fixed like pos's and super capitals, assault frigs, diemos etc etc.

The only change they need to make to PI is allowing you to select all of you factorys to set the item type on all at once.

Yeah, it's annoying how they can't work on fixing super capitals, assault frigates and hybrid guns, when they're focused on this useless PI stuff.

This of course explains why Goons attacked ice. They probably thought, well we can't mess around with the PI side of it, but the ice is fair game. Then when the new CO comes in, the people with a POS get hit with price jumps, right after we've messed with the price of ice.

See the price jump of the Advanced PI products already.

The only reason why I support this change.

It's kind of amusing how CCP's whole "we're sorry, we messed up and are going to listen to the players from now on" doesn't apply to this project. A quick browse through the comments thread has every dev post being "nuh-uh, players aren't gonna do what you players are saying you're gonna do, you're gonna do what the magical unicorns in our marketing department say you're gonna do."

They also say that they're going to watch what happens and change things if it doesn't work, like they thought it would.

They "might" not have to change anything, if it works well enough. We'll see what happens first and then you can say "I told you so", if it doesn't work ;P

Just read about this coming feature and thought "yet another thing that will aggravate alot of highsec dwellers"..
I kind of like the idea but don't approve of the increased costs for using CONCORD owned Custom Offices.

A quick look also shows a lot of support, HOW THE **** CAN CCP LISTEN IF YOU DON'T LET THEM YOU ASS

**** they just proposed the idea to us AFTER telling the CSM, which obviously didn't oppose it!

No problems bar one with this as an idea, why have player owned CO's when surely it would be better to have player owned launchpads instead?

Instead of everyone having their own launchpad, make it so that only one could be placed on a planet and ownership of this could be changed through either orbital bombardment or PI created (or purchased) security forces. This would enable the different players using a planet to link their infrastructures together through a single hub, something to fight over (to set the taxes etc.) and when Dust 514 comes along, something for the dust-mites to fight over for the capsuleers....

Bar that, i like it.. :)
