Why do anchored bubbles give the victim agression?

If a person is disrupted and they log out, they stay until the are not disrupted anymore. (pls correct me if I am wrong)

So, why does an anchored bubble give someone aggression for just hitting the bubble? Suddenly for just warping in somewhere they have to warp around for 15 minutes or lose a ship even though they had not even locked anyone.

I'm not following you? I've never run into this. Do you mean if you SHOOT the bubble or just warping into a bubble? Just warping into a bubble shouldn't give you an aggression timer and certainly should cause you to warp around.

Just warping into a bubble, warping off, since not aggressed, log off in the hopes of just dissappearing.

Not aggressing anyone, not even the bubble.

They don't. Seriously, they don't. I have on numerous occasions jumped through gate into a bubble and then MWDed back and jumped back through. In fact, its a fantastic way the split up a gang to kill off a smaller number of people.

You're post is confusing....

If you anchor a bubble, you don't get aggression...
If someone enter's an anchored bubble, they don't get aggression.
If someone attempts to warp out from inside of an anchored bubble, then they get aggression.
If you anchor a bubble for yourself, and someone warps in it, they get aggression, and so do you!!!
If you anchor a bubble for corp, and someone warps in it, they get aggression, but you don't.

If you deploy a warp disruption bubble, you gain aggression (this keeps changing).
If someone is inside the warp disruption bubble, but don't attempt to warp, they do NOT gain aggression.
If someone attempts to warp out of your warp disruption bubble, you gain aggression, and so do they.

If you deploy a warp disruption field, no aggression flags are triggered.
If someone is inside your warp disruption field, but don't attempt to warp, no aggression flags are triggered.
If you deploy a warp disruption field, and someone attempts to warp out of it, you gain aggression, and so do they.

So, which mechanic do you have a problem with?

*edit*
In all of these cases:
Aggresssion to you refers to both the 15 minute logoff PvP aggression timer, as well as the 1 minute dock/jump Weapons aggression timer.
Aggression to them refers only to the 15 minutes logoff PvP aggression timer.

That specific action is what killed my ship, and is the reason I created this thread.

I was 1km to short from just warping out, burned out of it and warped away. Logged out, came back 20 minutes later to see if system calmed down, only to see my pod in a station.

Gee I wish they would update the agression mechanics and add timers to the UI.....

oh wait.... ._.

edit: sorry for the confusion, I wasn't sure what action gave me aggression. The very act of being denied warp is an act of aggression?

That makes so much sense... i mean, obviously I am trying to rob someone of a killmail, I am agressing their killboard so **** me, im agressed.

While warp disruptor bubbles aren't directly "targetting" your ship, they are certainly inhibiting it with an aggressive effect. It's very similar to if you got aggressed by a POS module (gun, EWAR, what not).

I understand your dissatisfaction with the lack of interface options to inform you of any aggression timers you have, but it's very reasonable for an anchored warp bubble that inhibits your warp to give you an aggression timer.

Also, from the new crime watch dev blog released today, the interface will now show you which aggression timers you have...
