Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is appropriate to post on these forums because CCP doesn't control/own Serenity anymore, so please delete this topic if that's the case.

I was always curious what Serenity was like from the day it launched. I can't remember exactly but I believe at the time of it's launch was for chineese only, so someone from Europe, like me, would not be able to create an account and take a look. I always enjoyed reading about Serenity if a post about there appeared on these forums. Because Eve Online is such a player driven game compared to most other MMO's, 2 servers with different groups of players can turn out quite different. I was most interested in those similarities and/or differences in both pvp tactics and the market.

About a month ago I saw this killmail which sparked my curiosity in Serenity again. I read some more about our little chinese brother and stumbled upon this site. It's the forum of a group of TQ players that created accounts on Serenity for the same reason I created one, which is to see what's different there and to have some fun with a fresh pilot. They seem to have left Serenity a while back, after they saw what it's like on another Eve server. I can understand why they did. Not because Serenity is horrible server to play on, but because (at least to me) TQ is like the "real world" where Serenity is a place to show what Eve is like when it's played by different group of players.

About a week after I read about The Failheap Challenge group I decided to create an account myself, that's about 3 weeks ago now. It was a fun experiance to work for those first ships and skils again, without the help of a main with 10's of billions in his wallet. I've come to a point were I'm ready (isk and skillwise) for some pvp. In my first ventures into low and null I've had some succes already, but some failures as well. This is the point for me where I'm starting to feel the handicap of not being able to communicate with anyone. Pvp is for a big part a group activity, and being solo limits your pvp possibilities a lot. Besides pvp it's always good to have some people around who you can have a decent conversation with.

I'm not planning on staying on Serenity forever, but I'm not leaving yet either. If there's anyone reading this that's curious about what serenity is like as well, or is occasionally playing there already, I would like to invite you to:"Lucky Leif's Lounge"! (famous viking, english langues blabla) In this channel we could discuss Serenity, organise some pvp or just chat about anything else.

For everyone not interested in creating an account on Serenity but who does have a question about the chinese server, feel free to mail me on TQ.

PS Once again, if this is post is against the EULA (I couldn't find a reason why it would be) or otherwise not wanted, please delete it and my apollogies.

Just realize that there is a reason why there is a China only server. If caught you will get banned(on Serenity only). While accessing it is a well known thing now a days, I don't believe its a good idea to promote it on Eve-O forums. However that would be up to a mods discretion.

Trolling and racism are not welcome here. If that is the only comment you can think of making, I suggest you do not post at all. Lets keep this discussion free of that sort of thing from now on please.
