Would cost me 1m to send it.

oh... yeah... you can set a fee so people are less likely to spam you. From 0 to 100000000000000000000 whatever. To stop spam was the intention, anyway.

That was the CSPA fee. The other player doesnt get the ISK, its an isk sink.

CSPA stands for Concord Spam Prevention Act.

The guy does not want to be contacted so he sets the CSPA to 1mil. He does not get the isk, it just disappears.

CSPA charge is a value between 0 and 1.000.000 ISK
Restrictions has been made, in order to prevent people from going completely broke

Personally, I will recommend you set CSPA charge to 0
Player interaction is a huge part of EVE Online, and you might just miss out on quite a bit of that with a high CSPA.

Of course, having high CSPA charge is a good way to avoid needless spam.

This, I almost never get spam. And convo's from strangers can result in a lot of fun/tears.

I recommend setting your CSPA charge to 0.

I've had mine at 0 since I started playing several years ago, and spam has not been a problem.

I think the only time I'd set CSPA > 0 would be temporarily to avoid dirty fleet tactics like spamming convo invites.
