If I have an existing account, which is 4-years old, can this be applied?

EVE Inferno from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008K8DP60/ref=oh_d__o00_details_o00__i00

I purchased this and created a new account for EVE. But I do have an account from 4-years ago that I played on for 2-months.

Does anyone know if this purchase from Amazon can be applied to my other account that is inactive and 4-years old?

Thanks.

As it's not a EVE time card or a PLEX, I would say no it can't be used on an existing account

EDIT:

Also, reading isn't your best skill obvioustly

From the amazon site:

That really wasn't my question, though I can see how you would think that. I wasn't intending to use it to extend the subscription time of my existing past account, but being out of touch for so long, forgot that EVE expansions are free, I guess.

So, just by virtue of re-subscribing with my 4-year old account would provide me access to all of EVE's content. Right? Again, I've been out for a long, long time.

Ooh that way.

Yes, you can just download the client from the EVEonline website - likely did that with this new account

Open up the client and log in with your 4 year old character that was inactive, you will have access to all the stuff that is in EVE now.

And you likely have some "free" skillpoints to allocate, cause in the past they overhauled and deleted some skills (Social part got an overhaul, learning skills were deleted). And you will have to do remake your character as your old character was still based on the old avatar system.

You pay a monthly fee for playing EVE (with RL money or ISK). CCP updates the EVE client/server, so as long as you keep your client up to date it really doesn't matter which account you log in, it's always playing the 'latest' version of EVE.
