Hey guy. I was wanting to insure my Imperial Navy Slicer but the numbers seem wrong. Maybe you can shed some light on this. Here's the screenshot.

Link to screenshot

As you can see, the ship cost at least 24 million but the best insurance package pays out 432,000 isk

Any idea or should I file a bug report?

Thx!

Edit: And of course the link does not work!

Bonus edit: Hope you don't mind, I fixed your link for you - ISD Type40.

Working as intended. Insurance is calculated from the cost of the minerals to build it. As such, faction & T2 hulls aren't worth insuring.

The 9m isk shuttle I bought once when I was in a hurry and not looking did the same thing. a 9m isk ship and the insurance company pretty much just laughed at me Sad

Try tech 3 insurance. :shudder:

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

Would be nice if the insurance were calculated by the average market price of the ship.

It kind of is. It's just that, by design, it's only supposed to be anywhere near close to the full price for T1 — T2 and T3 are meant to cost you a pretty penny when you lose them.
