The Journal of Neural Engineering has reported on a technique to artificially enhance the cognitive decision making ability of monkeys impaired by coke usage by directly stimulating nerves in the pre-frontal cortex.

So once they get these things rolling: which implant will you get?

I think I'll start easy with a direct cybernetic interfact between my brain and a computer.. after that.. extra intelligence and memory would be nice too I suppose.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

Definitely a datajack (à la Shadowrun), various display links, and boosts to Memory and Perception.

I could definitely go for a data jack. But I think the firewall would have to be about 1000% more effective than what we have now. Can't imagine how embarrassing it would be to have a virus in my gray matter.

It's not a EVE related topic...

It seemed like a direct antecedent to the in-game implants to me. I suppose if that's not the case they'll mod move it to Out of Pod.

Lowgrade slaves.

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

A full slave set would make for a formidable piece.

A codpiece in the shape of a Damnation would be a fine addition to the Eve store, methinks.

edit: I wonder how much CCP could make if the NeX store sold a Damnation shaped codpiece... OTOH, they would also need to allow for crotch shots in the character creator portrait.

edit2: Here is the Features and Ideas thread for the NeX Damnation Codpiece. Give it a +1 if you support the idea.

Not-so-much looking forward to the day a "blue screen of death" causes neurological failure. Roll
