Notifications when you get blocked.

It would be ncie if the people we blocked got a little notification say that so and so blocked them on whenever. Teach people who think they can spam but also don't wanna get blocked not to spam Big smile

But I'm sure also some people would thrive on these messages, making competition's on who can get the most "blocked" mails Twisted.. But I mean what's the real downside of adding this? Sure I guess, there could be a setting where you could turn off the notifications of when YOU block someone, not recieveing them, you can never turn that off Twisted

What does everyone else think?

Do you really even care to know? It's not like they would even see your tears if you knew anyways. Plus it would possibly defeat the purpose of being able to hide/block people... I like this current system.

Actually I support the notification, I want to know if a scammer in local really blocks me or not after I called them scammer, or if they're just stalking my text after saying they blocked me haha Lol

On forums I support this idea.
In game it will be exploited: 250 man fleet warps to enemy fleet at 0. during warp a scout has linked names of the enemy logistics into fleet as soon as 1st primary is called all fleet members hit right click block.

I could block 2500 random people but what do I get for my trouble?

But every now and then someone I thought of blocking says something good, and I think to myself "you see you would have missed that if you blocked them".

Never blocked anyone in EVE. In Jita the RSI risk is too high. Otherwise I just ignore annoying people by selective attention.

So what would happen if someone blocked me, and then I mutually block them in return? Do they get a notification as well? or, is it the first person to block someone that gets to have a notification sent? Does blocking someone block notifications of being blocked?

I ask because thats exactly what happened recently, and I blocked the other person in return for being a massive idiot and a waste of breath after they TOLD ME they were blocking me for whatever like I was supposed to give a damn.

Also, can we customise the notification? I'd like to be able to use it for a potshot to induce raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage in certain people.

I only block complete retards, why should I care if they get notified? either inform them prior to blocking them or just leave them to continue being spastics, without affecting you.

We could always use this thread to tell people who we have blocked.

I'll start I have blocked Myxx for the following reasons:

Having a great blog and running a great all female corp, Hellcats, and letting it go for some weird reason. Ugh

I'm just showing that I haven't followed what happened with Myxx since capsuleer stopped and I stopped reading blogs. Sad
Actually I feel kinda bad about that. There are a few blogs I miss like Kirith Kodachi, Manasi and Rixx Javix. I should start reading them again.
