Unlocking BPOs

It's been some time since I have unlocked any BPOs, and can't find the particular answer for my situation anywhere out there.

I have several BPOs that are locked down that are in need of being unlocked.

Myself and another character have the only shares in our Corp split equally between ourselves. He is unavailable to make any vote on unlocking the BPOs.

My question is whether or not I can initiate an unlock vote, vote 'yes' and then sanction the vote after 24 hrs (+/-)?

I'm not interested in the politics of this, just the mechanics.

i think, you have a problem.

a) you can initiate the voting, should be no problem
b) shareholders have a vote, so you can reache only 50:50
c) only the CEO can unlock the BPOs after a successful voting, don't know if a 50:50 voting is a successful voting.

if 50:50 is no successful voting you can't unlock the BPOs.

Run as CEO first, and vote for yourself in, you will win providing the other shareholder doesn't login to vote against you.
Once CEO run the unlock vote again you will win providing the other shareholder doesn't login to vote against you.

Votes are decided on the majority of votes cast, not possible votes available.

Thanks for the responses.

Since I'm already CEO that solves a big headache. Just wasn't entirely sure on the voting side of things.
